For May, jewelry has always been deeply personal. Long before Papaya Room, there was a fascination with art, exceptional stones, and the quiet confidence of a piece chosen for character rather than convention. Inspired from a young age by her mother’s eye for jewelry, May developed an appreciation for pieces chosen for character rather than trends.
With a background in architecture and over two decades of design experience, Papaya Room brings together her passion for jewelry with her understanding of form, proportion, material and detail.
